We granted certiorari to review the decision of the court of appeals in People v. Bookman, 44 Colo. App. 76, 615 P.2d 44 (1980), which reversed the defendant's conviction by a jury of reckless manslaughter, section 18-3-104(1)(a), C.R.S. 1973 (1978 Repl. Vol. 8). We reverse the judgment of the court of appeals and remand with directions.
